Image: DENISE BRADLEY That is the question being positioned today by city coordinators as they seek to prepare concepts for the road network up until 2036. Norfolk County Council and the Greater Norwich councils of Norwich, Broadland and South Norfolk have joined forces to collect information from the general public that will assist update the Transport for Norwich (TfN) strategy.As well as finding

out about how people take a trip in and around Norwich at the minute, the consultation also asks people to rank the value of a variety of transport-related issues, including new technology, sustainability and ecological factors.The TfN evaluation study runs together with the Greater Norwich Resident Plan( GNLP)

Image: ANTONY KELLY Mike Stonard, Norwich City board's cabinet member for sustainable and inclusive development, stated:" Sustainable growth has to be provided together with the right facilities. Arise from this preliminary study and emerging plans for development in the area will set us in the best instructions when assembling a brand-new Transportation for Norwich Method." Stuart Clancy, financial development portfolio holder for Broadland District Council, said:" The future of our neighborhoods depends on an appropriate transport infrastructure so we would encourage all Broadland citizens to react to the consultation so that their views can be taken into account in shaping this direction." John Fuller, leader of South Norfolk Council, said:" Greater Norwich is a key engine for growth for the country and has established itself as a leader in science, technology and production." A strong transportation strategy is important to open development potential across the region and bring forward facilities to support existing and future neighborhoods to grow." Once the outcome of the GNLP is

known, info from this and the Transportation for Norwich technique review consultation will be utilized to notify the material of a 2nd stage of assessment to establish a draft strategy.For more information and to take part in the consultation, please see www.norfolk.gov.uk/tfnreview.
