Neighborhood transport ‘hugely crucial’ for older individuals in Pembrokeshire says new champion

increased running costs due to propositions from the Department for Transportation.

Helena Herklots CBE used up her role as Older Individuals’s Commissioner in August, taking control of the ₤ 90,000-a-year post from Sarah Rochira.

Ms Herklots has more than thirty years’ experience working in the charity sector, and was the president of Carers UK before using up the new function.
