Loughborough’s weather-beaten Carillon Tower set for ₤ 300,000 revamp

Almost ₤ 300,000 is to be spent restoring Loughborough’s weather-beaten Carillon Tower.Officials say some parts of the landmark war memorial have weakened for many years and they wish to repair it up as its centenary methods in 2023. Following a drone inspection of the 150 ft structure in Queen’s Park, Charnwood District Council is set to approve a ₤ 282,000 bundle of repairs and cleaning.
