Transport managers are alerting motorists to be mindful on the roadways as a weather caution for wind remains in location this morning.Storm Aileen might not

have been as significant as forecasted, but the yellow weather warning will remain in location for the area until 10am, so vehicle drivers need to make sure before triggering in their vehicles.TfGM, the body accountable for transport in Greater Manchester, advised individuals to take public transportation where possible, until the weather condition caution not applies.An early morning tweet by the travel group said:" Strong winds &

rain can cause treacherous rush-hour conditions on the roads &. Have you considered using public transport to keep moving?"There are long delays on the M66 at junction 1 for Ramsbottom heading southbound following a six-vehicle crash at 7.20 am.There are likewise delays on the M60 around Stockport, in addition to the north west around Prestwich, however
